Why we exist
Vital work deserves real support.
NGOs do a great deal for their communities, but many lack the support systems needed to sustain their operations and communicate their work effectively.
They are often closest to the people and problems that matter, yet need stronger strategy, technology, branding, communications, operating frameworks and access to expert support.
Closing that gap is the reason Unit Foundation was created. We support the organisations already on the ground, then develop young people who can contribute to them and to the startups growing around them.

How the work connects
When an NGO becomes stronger, more people can benefit.
Our work is a support system, not a single workshop. We combine organisation-building, technology, expert volunteers and youth development so that people gain capacity while organisations gain the people and tools they need.
Every step works toward the same end: organisations with the capacity to sustain their work, and young people with real routes to contribute.

We start with the NGO's mission, people and operating reality, not a generic package.

Qualified volunteers, consultants and practitioners contribute practical advice, training and mentorship.

From the Foundation
The work, as it happens.
Milestones from our work with organisations since 2020, our first HYPE cohort and the youth entrepreneurship programme announced in July 2026.
Announcing the Student Entrepreneurship Programme
In July 2026, Unit Foundation announced that HYPE would be revamped into a broader youth entrepreneurship and technology-skills programme.
The first HYPE cohort completed the programme
Fourteen university students completed six months of practical digital-skills training and every participant was placed in a real organisation.
Supporting NGOs and community organisations since 2020
Unit Foundation's organisation-development, technology and opportunity support began in 2020 and has since reached more than ten NGOs.
